Local Area Nets  

The following is a list of local nets that may be useful:

Central District Emergency net (CDEN) – 7 p.m. second Tuesday of every month, on the 147.00- repeater (negative offset). CDEN services the six county areas of Cayuga, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego and Seneca counties.

Onondaga County Radio Emergency net - meets on the first and third Mondays of each month on 147.30(+) for both ARES and RACES members in the Onondaga County Radio Emergency Corp (OCREN).

Oneida County Traffic & Emergency net (OCTEN) meets twice daily:

   Early Session 6:30 p.m. 146.760 - with call-ups at 6:35 p.m. on the following frequencies: 145.110 - 145.170 - 145.230 - 146.610 - 146.655 - 146.940 - 146.850 -

   Late Session 9:30 p.m. 145.170 - with a 9:35 p.m. call up on the 146.760 -

Oneida - Madison Emergency net (OMEN) - 7:15 p.m. 1st Monday of the Month. /145.170 –

Otsego County ARES / RACES net - 7 p.m. every Thursday 146.850

Herkimer County ARES / RACES net - 7 p.m. Monday 145.110 – PL 167.9 DTMF, satellite repeaters - -147.090+ no PL, 147.045 – PL 167.9. Key in 325 to disable PL Tone on the 145.110 only.

Montgomery County ARES / RACES net - 7 p.m. Thursday 147.195+

New York State RACES net - 9 a.m.  Sunday 3.993.5 MHz.  Weekly

New York Phone net - 1 p.m. 7.238 Alt 3.925 MHz   Daily

New York Public Operations - 10 p.m.   3.912 / 3.925 MHz   Daily

New York State ARES - 3.925 MHz as needed

Second Region Traffic Handlers Information net  - (SRTHIN) Every Monday following the (NYPON) net about 5:20 p.m. on 3.925 MHz
